Common Turkish channel will start broadcasting soon
In the very near future a common Turkish channel will start broadcasting. In particular, its structure has been developed already. This was announced today by the project director of TurkPA, Zamin Aliyev, speaking at a meeting of the Assembly on Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Issues.
Aliyev reminded that after an initiative to create a channel made by the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev during a summit of Turkish-speaking countries in Bodrum in June of this year, a coordinating group, working on the channel was formed.
"At a meeting of the group at the end of October, it was decided to create a TV channel. The channel's structure will consist of a Board, a Board of Directors and editorial staff. The TV channel will broadcast both in English and in the official languages of the Turkish states. Like the TV channels Al-Jazeera and Euronews, this channel will have international status. At the moment there is test broadcasting, and soon it will begin to operate," the director of TurkPA is cited by Trend.
The working title of the new channel, according to Aliyev, is Eurasia Life. However, this is not the final version.
